Ayurveda Philosophy

Ayurveda, the healing science of India and one of the oldest forms of healthcare in the world, is based on a rich philosophical foundation. It uses the forces of nature to restore physical balance and teaches us to live in harmony with the universal laws of nature in order to combat the causes of disease. Our experienced Ayurveda team, led by Dr. Jibin C. Manjila, specialized in traditional Ayurveda treatments and Kalari massage, will personally guide you through your treatment program.

THE PHILOSOPHY OF AYURVEDAIN OUR WELLNESS-RETRE AT AM SEE X NATTIKA AYURVEDA

Ayurveda, deeply rooted in traditional medical systems, views health as the balance of body, mind, spirit and social well-being. This comprehensive view extends beyond the individual and connects it to the universe, emphasizing the maintenance of health as well as the healing of disease.

Ayurveda, a globally recognized and one of the oldest traditional systems of medicine, still holds many undiscovered secrets. This medical discipline does not focus exclusively on the treatment of various diseases, but attaches just as much importance to maintaining a person's health. According to Ayurveda, true health is the result of a harmonious balance of body, mind, spirit and social well-being. However, the philosophy of Ayurveda does not view the individual in isolation, but in a deep connection with the entire universe.

THE SACRED AYURVEDIC TEACHINGS

According to Ayurveda, the universe consists of five elements (Panchamahabhootas): Akash (space), Vayu (air), Agni (fire), Jala (water) and Prithvi (earth). These elements determine the three doshas (vatha, pitha and kapha), the balance of which is essential for our health. Ayurvedic treatments aim to maintain this balance through therapies, medication, nutrition and yoga.

OUR APPROACH AT NATTIKA AYURVEDA

We take a targeted approach that addresses the imbalance of the three doshas - Vata, Pitta and Kapha - which is often caused by unhealthy lifestyle habits. Diseases are treated by two main methods: SAMANA, the pacification, and SODHANA, the cleansing or detoxification of the body. Our treatments also focus on strengthening the digestive fire, AGNI, which is considered essential for a person's health. Our approach aims to treat both the symptoms and the causes of disease by restoring and promoting the body's natural balance.

HEALING WITH US

Our Shamana treatment focuses mainly on dietary adjustments and recommendations, the use of internal medicines and the implementation of specific therapies. The aim is to bring the doshas - the fundamental forces that control the physical and emotional state - back into balance.
