Asanas is a coordination between mind and body and it helps to strengthen the body and it is a preparation of the body to practice the pranayama and meditation for a longer time.it includes sitting,standing,supine,prone positions and also it includes animal,human,birds features or characters.(ex.vrikshasana,naukasana,bhujagasana,etc)

During ayurveda treatment we need external medicines, oils to support or strengthen the body. During yoga practice we use our own energy in the right way with the proper breathing patterns and body alignments to strengthen the body and mind. However we can connect both ayurveda and yoga, in ayurveda also yoga can be part of treatment and during yoga practice also, we need a proper diet to have a good energy.
